Hello,
My name is Gina Myers and I became an instructor with ISR in August 2008. As a part of ISR, I am dedicated to teaching our children the Self-Rescue™ skills needed to save themselves from drowning. My experience with children in the water goes back to 1998 when I started working as a lifeguard and Water Safety Instructor. I did this for 7 years and eventually went into teaching after graduating from college. After having our own daughter, my husband and I felt that it was vital to ensure we did everything possible to arm her with the skills necessary to save herself from drowning and we found our answer with ISR! I feel very fortunate to be able to teach these lifesaving skills to other little ones and educate families about drowning prevention.
Fees:
The Registration Fee for ISR is $105 per child. This fee goes to our national ISR Office in Florida where a portion is allocated to create scholarships for ISR lessons given to families that qualify. This fee also covers the cost of a medical screening to allow for the safest possible lesson of each and every child that goes though our program. After your registration is complete, you will receive a package from ISR that includes the ISR Parent Resource Book and a Parent DVD. You will also have a "gift code" via email to use at the ISR Seal Store to order a complimentary T-shirt and swim diaper (if needed).
Weekly Fee:
The weekly fee for lessons is $85 per student. There is a sibling discount of 20% per sibling. Maintenance lessons are $20 per lesson per student and Refresher lessons follow the same pay scale as regular lessons.
